A sunny morning in Cubao. The office has announced liberal leave through noon. I am on annual leave the entire day, however, for Maryhill School of Theology's Foundation Day, which I filed for at least two weeks ago. So there I was asking myself over breakfast how the now-gone typhoon will affect the school celebration when a white AUV pulled up at the main gate and a seminarian asked for me.
The seminarian assured me that the event is on. I should be at MST at 1:00 PM. If you're available, join me there for your Thursday entertainment, bwahahahahahahahaha!
But now I don't know what proper, post-typhoon attire is: barong? smart casual? hermit? the simplicity of voluntary poverty that the priests and nuns so approve of?
