I was guest speaker at Maryhill School of Theology's Foundation Day this afternoon. We had a good turnout despite the weather. Most of the people I used to know were still there and didn't seem to age at all. I met alumni, former classmates, the new Dean, the New President, the event organizers, 4th Year students, priests, nuns, and seminarians.

The security guard still remembered me despite my hermit look. The first thing I did was leave my bag inside the audiovisual room, and then I went to the penthouse to take shots, including one of Gilmore Street where I used to pass to and from school and where informal settlers would greet me, "Good afternoon, Father."

I browsed through the art exhibit by New Bilibid Prisoners. I considered buying five papier-mache pumpkins but was accosted by the new Dean and an old classmate; we ended up chatting inside the Dean's office while waiting for my talk to begin.

Alas, I take my own photos and therefore have none of myself and my presentation. But, it was a lot of fun for everyone.

I received a much-appreciated MST T-shirt and something I'd never seen before--a "palm cross" carved out of wood and designed to be clutched in one's hand.

After an alumni meeting and merienda in the cafeteria, where I met old friends, the Augustinian seminarians very kindly drove me home.
